Conversational AI
Conversational AI is technology that lets computers hold natural back-and-forth conversations with people, in text or speech.
In more detail
It combines several pieces: speech recognition to hear you, natural language processing to understand you, a model to decide what to say, and sometimes text to speech to answer aloud.
Chatbots, voice assistants and AI phone agents are all forms of conversational AI.
