Claude is a family of AI models and an AI assistant made by Anthropic, used for writing, analysis, coding and working with long documents.

Claude is available as a chat app on the web, desktop and phones, and to developers through an API. It is widely used for coding and for reading long files thanks to a large context window.
Anthropic created the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to other apps and data.
