In more detail
The word spread in 2024 to describe the flood of careless AI content online. It tends to look plausible at a glance but is unoriginal, unchecked or misleading.
Signs include vague, repetitive text, odd details in images and accounts posting at impossible volume. Using AI as a helper and adding real expertise and checking is how to avoid producing it.
