Stable Diffusion
Stable Diffusion is an image-generation model from Stability AI whose weights are publicly available, so people can run and customise it on their own computers.

First released in 2022, Stable Diffusion made high-quality AI image generation available outside big tech companies. Because the model can be downloaded, a large community builds add-ons such as LoRA styles and control tools.
It is a diffusion model and an example of open-weight AI.
