LoRA
LoRA (low-rank adaptation) is a lightweight way to fine-tune an AI model by training a small add-on file instead of changing the whole model.
Also called low-rank adaptation
In more detail
A LoRA file is tiny compared with the model it modifies, so it is cheap to train and easy to share. In image generation, people use LoRAs to teach a model a specific art style, character or product.
The same technique is used to fine-tune language models on modest hardware.
Example
Training a LoRA on 20 photos of your product so an image model can place it in new scenes.
