Prompt chaining
Prompt chaining breaks a big task into a series of smaller prompts, where each step’s answer feeds into the next.
In more detail
A single huge prompt is harder for a model to get right. Splitting it, for example research, then outline, then draft, then edit, makes each step easier to check and improve.
Automation tools and AI agents often run prompt chains for you.
Example
First ask for a list of key points from an article, then ask for a LinkedIn post based only on those points.
