Writing assistants are built on large language models. Some are general chatbots; others specialise in tasks like grammar checking, paraphrasing, SEO articles or ad copy.
They are good at first drafts and editing, but facts still need checking, and your own voice and judgement still matter. Schools and publishers have different rules on AI-assisted writing.
