I made a 45-second hand-painted animated short-film with Opus 5.5 No animation software. Every brushstroke, watercolour wash and sound effect is generated in code. Does Opus 5.5 absolutely cook in one shot, not really ? It's good but still needs a good supporting project. The numbers: • 62.7M tokens (96% cache reads) • 163 model calls • ~$34 at API list price • ~6¾ hrs start to finish, ~1½ hrs of it hands-on • 12-minute render on a laptop
